What we include

What’s included in a Delight tea party

Every Delight experience is thoughtfully styled and curated to create a beautiful, joyful setting for your celebration.

Depending on your chosen package, this may include:

  • Tea party styling and setup for 8 guests or more
  • Curated tablescape design (linen, tableware, décor and styling elements)
  • Coordinated tea sets, serving pieces and display items
  • Styling of client-supplied treats and cakes
  • On-site setup and breakdown
  • Optional add-ons such as Tipsy Tea beverage styling

Each setup is styled with intention — drawing on colour, texture and detail to suit your occasion and aesthetic.


What we don’t include 

What we don’t offer (but are happy to guide you on)

To keep our focus on styling and experience, there are a few things we don’t offer directly:

  • Full catering or food service
  • On-site serving staff or waitstaff
  • Alcohol sales or supply
  • Venue hire

That said, we’re always happy to:

  • Recommend trusted cake or beverage partners where appropriate
  • Style client-supplied food, cake or drinks beautifully as part of the setup

Tipsy Tea clarification 

About Tipsy Tea

Our Tipsy Tea option is a styling add-on — perfect for celebrations with a little sparkle.

It may include:

  • Styled gin or bubbles station
  • Champagne stand or feature tray
  • Glassware and beverage display styling
  • Decorative accents to suit your event aesthetic

Beverages can be client-supplied or sourced on request.
Delight does not sell or serve alcohol.

How many guests do you cater for?

Our tea party packages are designed for 8 guests or more. This allows us to create a beautifully styled experience that feels generous and complete.


Can packages be customised?

Yes. While our packages offer a starting point, we’re happy to tailor elements to suit your guest count, occasion and overall vibe.


Do you provide food or catering?

We don’t offer catering, but we can style cakes, treats and refreshments supplied by you or sourced through trusted partners.


Do you offer cakes?

Cakes are not included as standard, but we may recommend or source from select cake partners where appropriate.


Do you offer alcohol?

We don’t sell or serve alcohol. Our Tipsy Tea option focuses on styling only and works beautifully with client-supplied beverages.


Where do you operate?

We’re based in the Western Cape and currently service Cape Town and surrounding areas. Travel fees may apply for outlying locations.


How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance, especially for weekends. Last-minute enquiries are welcome, subject to availability.


How do I enquire or book?

Simply complete our enquiry form with your event details, and we’ll be in touch to confirm availability and next steps.


What happens if it rains (for outdoor events)?

We’ll work with you on a backup plan where possible.
